Want to learn a little more about how we think about marketing? Get inside the minds of the people at Response and read Trust in Branding and Direct Relationship Marketing by Peter Franz and When Advertising and Entertainment Collide: Advertainment by David Klineberg and Carolyn Walker. We’d love to know what you think about the pieces so drop us a line. We’d also love to include some quotes from our network of great marketers so you might be hearing from us for our next piece!

What do Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith, Hall-of-Fame Running Back Tony
Dorsett, Super Bowl Champion Coach Dick Vermeil, all-time NFL points leader
Morten Andersen, the potential top pick in this year’s NFL Draft Calvin Johnson,
and the staff of Response have in common? They were all attendees at the
Walter Camp Football Foundation’s 40th Annual National Awards Dinner on
January 13, 2007.
The gala event featured honored guests including the Walter
Camp All America team, the oldest and most prestigious college football All
American team in the country. ESPN anchor John Anderson did a great job as the
MC of the event and kept the crowd entertained throughout the evening.
Congratulations to the folks over at Walter Camp for putting on a first-class
event, star-studded event that we are excited to be a part of.

Response recently sponsored the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce
Business Expo, where the New Haven business community gathered for a
showcase of services, guest speakers and panels. The highlight of the event
was Response’s Carolyn Walker appearing on the panel “Your Brand and
Identity Define You.” Carolyn won over many new fans as a result of her
appearance and was approached by panel attendees after the event offering
their compliments. We showcased some examples of our client work at the
event and demonstrated how we also brand ourselves through all of our
Response branded materials. Look for Response at some more industry
events in the near future.
Response was not the only thing causing some buzz in New Haven. People
from all over gathered in the streets and in buildings to watch our neighbor, the
New Haven Coliseum, be imploded. While many of us have fond memories of
seeing great concerts and sporting events at the Coliseum, we’re looking forward
to the new development of the space. The $230 million development project will
include the new Long Wharf Theater, retail stores, housing and the Gateway
Community College.
Check out these videos of the implosion posted on the ever-popular YouTube website:
